Biography
Dominik Thiel is CEO and co-founder of Ecolation. Since first engaging with climate and environmental challenges at school, he has been driven by one question: where can a single person create outsized, real-world impact?
Combining an interest in natural science and economics, Dominik earned a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering at TU Berlin, specialising in Energy & Resources. He later completed a Master’s degree in Sustainability, Entrepreneurship & Innovation at ESCP Business School, where the initial idea for Ecolation took shape.
At Ecolation, Dominik leads strategy, business development and technology oversight. He connects scientific progress with industrial partnerships, fundraising, positioning and market entry—turning a promising material platform into a company designed to scale.
